An Elegant Cafe Cortina Wedding Provides Incredible Atmosphere

Faizan and Kenya had such a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Café Cortina.  Located in Farmington Hills Michigan, this restaurant provided a breathtaking atmosphere for an elegant summer wedding and an opportunity to take great wedding photos.  The happy couple flew all the way in from the Seattle area to be married in the company of those they cherished the most.  They chose to have an intimate wedding ceremony within the grounds of Cafe Cortina, and then celebrate their new life with all of their family and friends!

For those that are unfamiliar with this venue, a Cafe Cortina wedding reception is a fantastic choice.  When you first walk into the restaurant, you immediately pick up on the romantic vibe of the dining area.  Soft music, delightful aromas, and a cozy fireplace make the main dining area very inviting.  As the staff escorts the wedding guests through the restaurant and to the reception area, you can’t help but notice all of the restaurant awards that are proudly hanging on the walls of the hallway between the kitchen and reception area.

Above all, I would have to say that the main attraction was the outdoor garden.  Located just through the french doors of the reception area, is a garden oasis.   Made up of numerous paver walkways and luscious plantings, the centerpiece was the outdoor fireplace nestled in the corner of one of the various paver patios.  This was truly one of the most enjoyable environments to enjoy an evening summer wedding.

Kenya and Faizan are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met.  I enjoyed every moment of their wedding.   From the time I got there, Faizan made sure that I had everything I needed to photograph their special day.  From the embarrassing childhood stories that their friends told in their speeches, to the heartfelt hug from Kenya at the end of the wedding to say thank you, I am honored to have taken part in their special day.
